The Person Behind The System
Yale Lewis, LPC. Licensed Professional Counselor. Mental Performance Coach.

I have sat in both chairs. I was the Division I captain trying to talk a teammate off the ledge of a bad October, and years later I was the licensed clinician watching talented athletes lose games they were good enough to win, for reasons that had nothing to do with talent.
What I learned in the clinical world is that the tools work. CBT, ACT, nervous system regulation: this is not soft science. What I learned in the locker room is that none of it survives contact with a competitive environment unless it is translated. Athletes do not need therapy language. They need to know why their brain does what it does in the third period, and exactly what to run when it happens.
The Mindset Performance System™ is that translation. Six pillars, named patterns, installable protocols. I built it so it works without me in the room, which is the point. My job now is building and sharpening the system: the books, the workbooks, the courses, and the coaches and clinicians who will eventually deliver it.
